deyyess (pronounced day-ess) is a rising pop icon with an edge and is gearing up to shatter the ceiling of music. Influenced by Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey and Halsey, deyyess has spent the past few years mastering electric guitar and finding her musical attitude, what has emerged is a love for melody paired with a sad and darker aesthetic.

Having been scouted to play for Arsenal Ladies Football Club whilst at school, deyyess decided to turned down the opportunity to focus on her music career. “It might have been the worst decision of my life!” she laughs. “But as much as I loved football, music just hit different. Music is something you can give to other people. People can relate and find themselves in the music you write. You can inspire people with your own experiences and choices, your own feelings and mistakes turning them into something positive. I couldn’t let that go.”

She has already accumulated over half a million plays across streaming platforms as well as press support from NME, Billboard, Nylon, Gay Times, Clash, Wonderland and Popjustice.
